Cyber Security firm – Arctic Wolf – released their 2024 Security Operations Report recently covering recent trends, attack methods and areas of concern. Of particular note was the finding that nearly half of all Cyber Incidents are now occurring outside of business hours.

Threat actors are becoming more tactical in how they approach attacks. Knowing their actions may trigger alerting of some kind, they strike after hours, attempting to buy as much time as possible to exfiltrate data and maximise the impact of their attack.
